Job summary

AZX is hiring a Senior ML Engineer to build reusable ML libraries and the underlying simulation engine that powers utility client engagements. You will own tools for forecasting, disaggregation, detection, and asset health, with Rust crates and Python bindings.

Qualifications

• 5+ years shipping applied ML on real-world signals such as forecasting or anomaly detection.
• Strong numerical and scientific computing skills with feature engineering.
• Proficiency in Python; able to work with Rust-based components and tooling.

Responsibilities

• Own reusable ML libraries and evaluation harnesses.
• Build and maintain a city-scale energy simulation engine and grid-data toolkits.
• Develop planning and dispatch support for demand-response programs.
• Improve publish paths with versioned crates and Python packages and maintain field feedback loops.
