Job summary

AZX seeks an ML Engineer to build ML systems directly inside client environments. You start with data spread across multiple systems and end with a model running on a schedule within the client environment.

You will wear many hats—DevOps, infrastructure, frontend and backend—serving as the engineering face of AZX to the client. Responsibilities include owning the full ML delivery lifecycle, building robust forecasting/detection models, backtesting, and shipping usable capabilities via FastAPI

Qualifications

• Proven track record shipping ML to production with forecasting/detection on time series

Responsibilities

• Own the full ML delivery lifecycle from data discovery to deployment in client environments
• Build forecasting and detection models robust to real-world data issues
• Backtest and defend model metrics and tradeoffs with stakeholders
• Design systems distinguishing no prediction from wrong prediction to avoid user confusion
• Ship usable capabilities (FastAPI service, small React surface, scheduled jobs)
• Define baselines and KPIs and report post-deployment results
• Collaborate with client IT/data teams and iterate via discovery sessions
