Quora is a remote-first company building the Quora product and a distribution team that focuses on ranking models, feed, and digest emails. You will own and advance second-phase ranking models using the latest ML techniques and collaborate with engineers to implement efficient production-ready systems.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in recommendation or ranking, strong ML fundamentals, and experience delivering end-to-end ML pipelines in a remote-friendly environment.

Qualifikationen

• 3+ years of professional experience working on recommendation or ranking models.
• Strong understanding of mathematical foundations of ML algorithms.
• Experience building end-to-end ML systems.
• Excellent communication and collaboration with teams.

• Improve our ML ranking models using core coding and ML knowledge.
• Take end-to-end ownership of ML systems: data pipelines, feature engineering, model training, production integration.
• Identify opportunities to apply ML to other parts of the Quora product.
