Uber AI Solutions (UAIS) is a startup inside Uber, building the data and evaluation infrastructure behind the next generation of AI. The role owns a vertical end to end, drives growth metrics, and partners with product managers and engineers to move fast and deliver impact.

You will lead the development of scalable ML and backend systems, grow business outcomes, and shape customer relationships at scale within a fast‑paced, founder‑style environment.

Qualifications

• Master's or PhD in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, or a related discipline.
• 7+ years building and shipping products powered by ML, with ownership of technology and business results.
• Proven track record of growing a business with measurable growth such as revenue or adoption.
• Deep expertise in ML systems and backend distributed systems that scale.
• Track record of finding high leverage opportunities in ambiguous spaces.
• Exceptional communication and leadership to align customers, product, and leadership around a growth agenda.

Responsibilities

• Build ML and backend systems that enable growth and durability.
• Own your vertical end to end: direction, growth, and business metrics.
• Move fast in ambiguity, making strategic and technical calls.
• Be a trusted technical partner in key customer relationships to grow accounts.
