Job summary

Picklerobot is looking for a Senior Machine Learning Engineer who will play a crucial role in enhancing warehouse automation through cutting-edge perception models. You will spearhead efforts to architect and deploy advanced 2D/3D vision systems that enable our robots to navigate real-world complexities.

The position requires strong expertise in Computer Vision and Machine Learning, with responsibilities ranging from model optimization to improving the integrity of datasets. Candidates should be proficient in Python and PyTorch, and experience in C++ is advantageous.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Computer Vision and Machine Learning, particularly in Robotics, AV, or IoT.
• Expert-level skills in Python and PyTorch, with knowledge of C++ for deployment.
• Experience with both 2D and 3D Vision techniques.

Responsibilities

• Design and train models for complex grasping and scene understanding tasks.
• Manage the transition from research to deployment, ensuring low-latency inference.
• Contribute to strategic roadmap and conduct code reviews to maintain technical excellence.
• Optimize data strategies and improve model robustness through active learning.
