Job summary

Auxo Talent is seeking a senior ML/CV engineer in Austin to lead the transition of perception models from prototype to real-world edge deployments. You will help scale the CV/ML team and may progress to a lead role as the team grows.

You will build and deploy models for object detection, tracking, and classification, working with camera, radar, and thermal data. Strong Python/PyTorch skills with C++ plus are required, and citizenship is required due to project sensitivities.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of ML or computer vision experience.
• Strong Python and PyTorch, with C++ a plus.
• Experience deploying detection and tracking models to edge devices.
• US citizenship due to work requirements.

Responsibilities

• Build and train models for object detection, tracking and classification.
• Deploy models onto edge hardware where speed matters.
• Work with sensor data from cameras, radar and thermal imaging.
• Test models in the field and use results to improve them.
• Work closely with the hardware and controls teams.
