Job summary

Auxo Talent is seeking a senior ML/CV engineer in Austin to lead the transition of perception models from prototype to real-world edge deployments. You will help scale the CV/ML team and may progress to a lead role as the team grows.

You will build and deploy models for object detection, tracking, and classification, working with camera, radar, and thermal data. Strong Python/PyTorch skills with C++ plus are required, and citizenship is required due to project sensitivities.

Job description

We're partnering with a fast-growing autonomy company in Austin. They build systems that detect, track and respond to objects in real time, out in the field. They're now building out a dedicated computer vision and ML team.

The role

You'll be one of the first senior engineers on the new CV/ML team. You'll take perception models from prototype to systems running on real hardware in tough conditions. There's room to grow into a lead role as the team expands.

What you'll do

• Work with sensor data from cameras, radar and thermal imaging
• Test models in the field and use the results to improve them

What you'll bring

• 5+ years of ML or computer vision experience

• Experience with detection and tracking models in production
• You've deployed models onto edge devices (NVIDIA Jetson or similar)
• US citizenship, due to the nature of the work
