Job summary

TikTok is seeking a skilled machine learning engineer to design and deploy large-scale algorithms that optimize TikTok's e-commerce search, ranking, and merchant matching, leveraging vast datasets to improve relevance, CTR, and conversions.

You will work with the e-commerce alliance team to analyze user behavior from merchants and creators, build scalable models, and contribute to a thriving marketplace with personalized shopping experiences.

Qualifications

• Proficient in at least one programming language.
• Experience in algorithm development and large-scale model optimization.
• Familiar with TensorFlow, Caffe, MXNet or similar frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Design and build large-scale machine learning algorithms to deeply optimize e-commerce search engines such as ranking, query analysis, and correlation calculation and various business indicators of sorting scenarios, including relevance, click-through rate, conversion rate, etc.
• Build machine learning solutions and algorithm strategies by the analysis and mining of a large number of user query to empower the merchant side and improve the overall matching ability of the platform
• Use the large scale of data to deeply analyze the behavior of creators and merchants and build targeted algorithm strategies to empower creators and merchants, improve merchants' monetization efficiency, and boost industrial upgrading
• Support the rapid development of TikTok's e-commerce business, serve millions of merchants, explore more efficient business models, satisfy users with the best shopping experience, and promote healthy ecological development
