Job summary

Suno is building the world's first creative entertainment platform where people of all backgrounds can create and enjoy music. We are growing our machine learning recommendations team to own a wide range of modeling and deployment decisions for Suno Studio and related products.

You'll work closely with the founding team to shape the technical direction of personalization systems, and you'll design, implement, and deploy models that scale to millions of users and real-time requirements.

Qualifications

• Master's or PhD in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Data Science, or related field or equivalent practical experience.
• Proficiency in Python and PyTorch with ability to implement and iterate on research ideas.
• Solid knowledge of data pipelines and cloud tech (Spark, AWS).
• Proven track record of building and deploying production ML/DS solutions.
• Strong communication and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Formulate and develop mathematical models of user preference, similarity, and engagement for music discovery.
• Design learning systems that infer user taste from sparse, noisy data.
• Build and deploy scalable recommendation models with real-time latency constraints.
• Translate objectives into measurable metrics and optimized systems.
• Run large-scale experiments and causal analyses to evaluate model impact.
• Define technical direction of Suno’s personalization systems with product and research leadership.
