Qualifications

• Extensive experience designing and training deep learning models.
• Experience with anomaly detection, including diffusion models.
• Familiarity with AD approaches: prototype-based, localization, segmentation.
• End-to-end model evaluation and calibrated operating points.
• Reproducible ML pipelines with artifact lineage and governance.
• Strong Python software engineering fundamentals and testing.
• Docker/CI-CD for training and inference in production.
• Production ML Ops on AWS/SageMaker with remote deployments.
• MLflow runs, metrics, artifacts, and model registry usage.
• Self-sufficient in a modern microservice stack on AWS.
• Senior level with 7+ years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and iterate the anomaly-detection approach for cell scans.
• Scale production ML pipelines with traceability and versioning.
• Own ML training, inference, orchestration, and model registry.
• Develop Titan's Battery Quality Library and multi-modal data extraction.
• Define production-grade anomaly metrics grounded in physics.
• Package models for cloud and edge deployment with monitoring.
• Support pilots across regions and inform deployment strategy.
• Document methods, algorithms, and evaluation for stakeholders.
• Set ML direction and mentor growing engineering teams.
• Collaborate with Product, Battery Science, Firmware, and Data Science.
