Job summary

Poesis is hiring a Machine Learning Engineer to build systems powering investment decisions. You will develop models, signals and evaluation frameworks that drive platform decisions, with ownership spanning research to production outcomes.

You will work across the full ML lifecycle, experiment with large-scale financial data, and collaborate with a high-skill team to push the frontier of AI-driven investing.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience as a Machine Learning Engineer or related role.
• Experience in production ML, large-scale datasets and AI systems.
• BS/MS/PhD in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong Python and SQL skills with production deployment experience.

Responsibilities

• Rapidly implement and iterate on machine learning models, signals and research ideas.
• Design experiments to evaluate model and agent performance and investment impact.
• Build reproducible workflows for feature generation, training, validation and evaluation.
• Work with large-scale financial, fundamental and alternative datasets to identify predictive signals.
