Job summary

Poesis seeks a Head of Engineering to define the technical foundation of an AI‑native investment manager. You’ll work closely with the CEO and Chief Scientist to translate frontier AI research into production systems and to grow a high‑caliber engineering organization.

You’ll lead designing scalable data architectures, autonomous agent infrastructure, and research platforms, while balancing long‑term design with shipping velocity in a fast‑growing company.

Qualifications

• Led engineering teams or tech org at scale.
• Designed shared infrastructure to accelerate research and production.
• Experience building frontiers AI/agentic systems is a plus.
• Strong communication and leadership in fast‑moving environments.

Responsibilities

• Define the technical foundation for an AI‑native investment platform from the ground up.
• Translate frontier AI research into production systems for live decision making.
• Build and mentor a small, elite engineering team and foster a culture of rigor and iteration.
• Shape the engineering organization and development practices to scale with the company.
