Job summary

NVIDIA is seeking an ML Data Operations Lead to own the customer-facing lifecycle of AV dataset releases. This senior IC role couples ML data understanding with release operations and emphasizes operational ownership over building data pipelines.

You will partner with ML engineers, coordinate with engineering, and ensure releases meet validation, documentation, and communication standards for customers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
• 6+ years in ML data operations or data-intensive operational roles.
• Solid understanding of ML data lifecycle from collection to consumption.
• Ability to use SQL to investigate dataset contents and quality.
• Strong customer orientation and cross-functional collaboration.
• Excellent written communication and incident reporting skills.
• Ability to balance timelines, capacity, reliability and data quality.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary operational partner for ML engineers and internal customers.
• Capture and clarify dataset release requirements including signals, volumes, and cadence.
• Own the release calendar and coordinate priorities across tracks.
• Monitor releases, identify failures, and drive issue resolution with engineers.
• Validate results against expected volumes and quality criteria before release.
• Communicate status, risks, and recovery plans to customers.
• Produce release notes and handoff information for ML teams.
