Job summary

Apple Inc. in Sunnyvale, California, seeks a skilled Machine Learning 3D Reconstruction Engineer to design and implement 3D reconstruction algorithms for ground-truth data pipelines powering ML models in Apple products.

You will work with experts in computer graphics, computer vision and ML to translate prototypes into production, shaping future Apple technologies and enabling new AI capabilities across devices.

Qualifications

• BA degree in computer science, computer graphics, computer vision or related field.
• 5+ years of relevant industry experience.
• Strong proficiency in C/C++ or Python, writing clean and well-structured code.
• Strong knowledge of 3D graphics and geometry processing.
• Strong understanding of data structures and algorithms.

Responsibilities

• Lead efforts to adapt state-of-the-art algorithms and design new reconstruction methods.
• Develop core API for ML engineers to work with ground-truth data at scale.
• Deliver clean, modular, testable algorithm code.
• Communicate effectively with cross-functional partners.
• Be highly motivated, take initiative and meet deadlines.
• Possess curiosity and willingness to learn.
