Apple Inc. is seeking a strong CVML engineer specializing in 3D perception and real-time tracking to design, implement, and ship core perception technologies used by millions of users. You will work with CVML researchers and engineers to advance 3D perception, spatial input, and object tracking on Apple devices.

The role emphasizes collaboration across software, hardware, and systems teams, with opportunities to influence product direction and ship state-of-the-art CVML algorithms on-device.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of relevant industry experience.
• Strong foundation in computer vision with 3D tracking, multi-view geometry, and Visual-Inertial Odometry (VIO).
• Proficiency in Python and deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch.

Responsibilities

• Invent and implement state-of-the-art CV/ML algorithms for perception and 3D tracking.
• Design robust, efficient solutions optimized for mobile and on-device hardware.
• Collaborate across software, hardware, and systems teams for end-to-end pipelines and Apple silicon efficiency.
• Iterate quickly based on data, feedback, and system constraints.
• Contribute to technical direction and roadmaps for next-generation perception and AI capabilities.
• Translate research ideas into production-quality systems and integrations.
