Job summary

GE HealthCare seeks a Senior Mixed Signal Design Engineer to architect and develop advanced mixed-signal electronics for MR imaging technologies. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of mixed-signal hardware design experience.
• Experience designing and debugging complex boards with processors, FPGAs, analog circuits, and interfaces.
• Strong understanding of analog and digital electronics, power systems, and embedded hardware design.
• Experience with schematic capture, board bring-up, hardware troubleshooting, and lab verification.
• Experience with Ethernet, CAN, USB, SPI, I2C, UART, PCIe or similar interfaces.
• Proficient with lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, and logic analyzers.

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture, design, implementation, and verification of mixed-signal hardware.
• Design and develop boards with processors, FPGAs, analog circuits, and PMU interfaces.
• Own schematic capture, reviews, bring-up, debugging, and system integration.
• Define interfaces between hardware, FPGA, firmware, software and mechanical subsystems.
• Perform circuit analysis, simulation, characterization, and root-cause investigations.
• Support PCB layout, signal/power integrity, EMC, reliability and manufacturability reviews.
• Develop hardware design standards and reusable architectures.
• Evaluate emerging semiconductor and interface technologies for roadmaps.
• Mentor engineers and provide technical leadership across programs.
• Support products through lifecycle from concept to manufacturing and field support.
