Job summary

MITRE is establishing Mission Computing to accelerate how MITRE turns technical possibilities into mission capability. The AI and Mission Enablement group works between infrastructure and practice to enable reusable patterns, data integrations, and secure environments for mission work.

The role focuses on leading architecture discussions, translating needs into executable concepts, and guiding delivery paths across disciplines for impactful national security solutions.

Qualifications

• Experience in solution and systems architecture, requirements analysis, and platform integration.
• Experience leading complex technical projects and coordinating multidisciplinary teams.
• Ability to translate mission needs into architecture products and roadmaps.
• Eligible to obtain Top Secret/SCI clearance; U.S. citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex customer and mission engagements to discover needs and frame objectives.
• Develop and lead solution-architecture discussions mapping needs to platforms and secure environments.
• Direct technical trade studies and synthesize information to resolve problems.
• Lead functional teams or projects with moderate resource requirements and guide execution.
• Mature front‑door and demand‑discovery practices for internal customers.
• Establish best practices, reusable architectures, and technical quality criteria; mentor staff.
