Job summary

MITRE’s Mission Computing Division is seeking a Senior Mission Solutions Architect to serve as a technical individual contributor and front-door partner between mission teams and capabilities. The role requires shaping architectures, translating needs, and delivering executable delivery paths.

You will collaborate with platform teams and stakeholders across MITRE to produce architecture artifacts, assess tradeoffs, and ensure secure, scalable solutions.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of related experience with a BA, 3 years with MS, or PhD with relevant experience.
• Experience in solution and systems architecture, requirements analysis, platform integration.
• Experience translating customer needs into solution concepts and roadmaps.
• Ability to communicate complex concepts and lead small technical efforts.
• Eligible for Top Secret/SCI clearance; U.S. citizen.

Responsibilities

• Engage mission customers to define objectives and translate needs into requirements.
• Develop solution architectures mapping needs to platforms and data flows.
• Produce architecture artifacts, backlogs, and delivery roadmaps.
• Evaluate tradeoffs and identify risks with actionable guidance.
• Support front-door processes and share insights to improve adoption.
