Job summary

RTX seeks a Senior Principal Mission Protection Systems Engineer for Alexandria, VA. You will act as a technical liaison with customers, lead technical teams, and deliver solutions across contractor boundaries in a fast-paced environment.

Applicants must have a TS/SCI CI Poly clearance and a STEM degree with relevant engineering experience. The role emphasizes data analytics, presentations, and data visualization, with strong emphasis on mission protection systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM and 5+ years of engineering experience.
• Active TS/SCI CI Poly clearance required prior to start.
• Experience with data analytics and presenting technical material.
• Experience with data capture and visualization tools.
• Experience with SENTIENT Tools.

Responsibilities

• Serve as technical liaison with customers and demonstrate project leadership across customer and contractor boundaries.
• Perform in a high tempo, dynamic small team environment, closely integrated with customers and contractors.
• Routinely support major projects that support the program/customer.
• Develop technical solutions to complex problems and follow project plans under pressure.
• Capture, analyze, and present systems performance metrics.
• Support CONOP updates and provide applicable improvements.
• Utilize systems, discrepancy reporting, and data analysis tools (e.g., SPLUNK, KIBANA).
