Lead payload hardware development and manage subcontractor performance for space and ground systems integration.

Essential qualifications include a STEM degree with 5+ years experience (or higher degrees with more), leadership and strong communication, plus

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or higher in STEM with 5+ years engineering experience; Masters with 3+ years; PhD in STEM disciplines.
• Experience designing, integrating, testing and operating optical and/or RF systems.
• Strong leadership, verbal and written communication skills.
• Active US Government Top Secret clearance and ability to obtain SCI clearance.

Responsibilities

• Support new business acquisition and technology development initiatives.
• Define system architectures and conduct trade studies.
• Allocate and validate requirements and contribute to payload performance analysis.
• Design modeling and simulation tools for system-level evaluation.
• Lead payload hardware development for space and ground systems integration.
• Manage subcontractor performance, hardware manufacturing and integration processes.
