Job summary

SpaceX is seeking a Sr. Applications Software Engineer to join a team building mission-critical applications used to accelerate launch vehicle production and Starlink systems.

You will own challenging software products end-to-end, from design and prototyping to deployment, with a focus on reliability and scalability in a fast-paced aerospace environment. You will collaborate with engineers across disciplines, mentor junior developers, and contribute to architecture reviews, testing strategies,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, math, or a related scientific discipline.
• 5+ years of professional software development experience; or 7+ years with no degree.

Responsibilities

• Develop highly reliable software solutions used across SpaceX.
• Create new applications to improve SpaceX operations.
• Build prototypes to validate designs and constraints.
• Own all aspects of software engineering and product development.
• Deep dive into users' problems to deliver efficient solutions.
• Collaborate on architecture, design, and code reviews.
