Job summary

C-Serv, based in the Dallas area, seeks a Commissioning Engineer to lead site commissioning for Red Oak, TX data-center projects. You will own L1–L5 commissioning, draft plans and scripts, and integrate start-up with the project schedule.

You must have 5+ years in mission-critical commissioning, an engineering degree, strong MEP knowledge, and experience with NETA, BMS/EPMS, access control and CCTV; MS Project or Primavera P6 are essential skills.

Qualifications

• 5+ years leading commissioning in mission-critical facilities.
• Degree in engineering or construction management, or equivalent experience.
• Strong reading of owner project requirements, drawings, schematics and sequences of operation.
• Experience developing and running commissioning plans, scripts and procedures.
• Knowledge of NETA standards, BMS/EPMS, access control and CCTV.
• Scheduling in MS Project or Primavera P6, with DCMA 14 or similar.
• Clear communication with trade partners, vendors and non-technical stakeholders.
• Comfort on active construction sites, including ladders and hoists.

Responsibilities

• Lead site commissioning (L1–L5) for new and expansion data center projects.
• Develop commissioning plans, scripts and procedures across multiple disciplines.
• Create start-up schedules and integrate with project timelines with monthly reporting.
• Prepare commissioning RFPs from creation through award.
• Conduct weekly punch-list reviews and implement prevention plans.
• Review design docs, submittals and start-up procedures; oversee subs.
• Closeout documentation and smooth handover to operations.
