Job summary

Sigmatech is seeking a Back-End Software Engineer to architect and develop mission-critical backend applications, microservices, and data platforms for defense programs. You will collaborate with software, data, and systems engineers to deliver secure, scalable solutions using containerized environments and CI/CD pipelines.

The role requires strong Python and C/C++ expertise, database design with PostgreSQL/SQL Server/Oracle, and secure software engineering principles.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of software development experience.
• Experience with Python and C/C++, SQL databases (PostgreSQL, SQL Server, Oracle), Git, Linux, and testing frameworks.
• Security+ certification (or ability to obtain within 6 months).
