Job summary

Lukos seeks a senior operations leader to direct the Mission Command Exercise Branch at the Special Operations Mission Training Center (SOMTC) on Fort Bragg. You will plan and execute MRXs, oversee staff, and resolve operational issues to ensure readiness of SOF command elements.

Ideal candidates bring SOF background, battalion-level command or senior WO experience, and demonstrated expertise in exercise design and execution within joint environments.

Qualifications

• Assignment to Special Operations Forces.
• Experience as a Commander at the battalion level or Chief Warrant Officer at Group or higher.
• Served as primary staff at the SOJTF level or higher.
• Desire knowledge of exercise design and managing the elements and resources of exercise development and execution.

Responsibilities

• Direct and manage the overall work efforts of the Mission Command Exercise Branch.
• Schedule and coordinate Mission Readiness Exercises (MRXs) for deploying 05 and 06 level Headquarters staff.
• Recognize, identify, isolate, and resolve any operational problems related to the Mission Command Exercise Branch.
• Coordinate for and supervise all internal SOMTC support for MRXs, including technical support, digital training, and constructive simulations.
• Coordinate directly with military Evaluation Teams designated to observe and report findings before, during, and after an exercise.
