Job summary

Booz Allen Hamilton is seeking a Missile Defense Software Expert, Senior to lead technical work on fire control and weapon-target pairing for complex systems. You will guide teams, analyze user needs, and shape capabilities that strengthen homeland defense.

You bring 10+ years in missile defense, strong systems engineering and requirements analysis, and familiarity with SysML/DoDAF/UAF. A SECRET clearance is required for this role.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in missile defense weapons systems or fire control systems.
• 7+ years of experience with weapon system engineering, planning, and integration.
• Experience with requirements, design, and performance analysis for engageability, interceptability, and lethality.
• Experience with systems architecture, requirements management, and technical baseline management.
• Experience with reviews of complex systems per the SETR process.
• Knowledge of SysML, DoDAF, and UAF.
• Secret clearance and a Bachelor's degree.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert guidance to teams on design, integration, and analysis of missile defense systems.
• Analyze functional needs and translate them into system capabilities for critical defense programs.
• Support development, testing, and integration activities across projects.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional stakeholders to meet program goals in a fast‑paced environment.
