Job summary

KODA Technologies in Huntsville, AL is seeking a Senior Performance Analysis Engineer to support Missile Defense Agency programs. You will perform mission- and system-level analyses to evaluate weapon system effectiveness, engagement performance, and operational capability across threat scenarios, using MATLAB and Python.

The role is on-site at Redstone Arsenal, requiring collaboration with government and contractor leadership.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in a STEM discipline.
• 12+ years of experience in performance analysis or related fields.
• Experience with Missile Defense Agency programs or elements.
• Advanced proficiency with MATLAB for model development and visualization.
• Proficiency with Python and scientific libraries (NumPy, SciPy, Pandas, Matplotlib).
• Ability to interpret simulation outputs and present findings to leadership.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform performance analyses of missile defense capabilities using modeling and simulation.
• Develop analytical methodologies to evaluate system effectiveness and engagement outcomes.
• Design and maintain analytical tools using MATLAB and Python.
• Conduct Monte Carlo simulations, sensitivity studies, and trade-space assessments.
• Analyze large datasets from simulations to identify trends and improvements.
• Prepare technical reports, presentations, and data visualizations for leadership.
• Collaborate with systems engineers, M&S teams, and government stakeholders.
• Support design reviews, meetings, and customer briefings.
