Job summary

Chenega MIOS is seeking a Senior Missile Defense System Architecture Engineer for Fort Belvoir, VA. The role focuses on analysis of future Missile Defense System architectures and modeling/simulation tool development to support architecture assessment on the TEAMS Next contract.

The candidate will assess capability gaps, develop analysis plans, execute simulations, post-process results, and prepare briefs. A Secret clearance with TS/SCI eligibility is required.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree with 12+ years of missile defense-related or other complex, large DoD program/project experience
• Bachelor's Degree with 20+ years of experience
• Active Secret clearance with the ability to obtain TS/SCI
• Successfully pass background and drug screening

Responsibilities

• Assess missile defense system capability gaps, challenges, needs, and opportunities against current and future threats to develop potential architecture solutions that mitigate gaps and/or improve performance
• Assist in the development of analysis plans, execute MDS simulation tools, post-process and assess analysis results, and prepare architecture analysis briefs/reports
• Support modeling & simulation efforts related to the above to tailor tools to specific analysis plans
• Perform other duties as assigned
