Job summary

Stantec is seeking a senior leader to help set the vision and expand our mining business across the western United States. You will manage multiple major client accounts, develop relationships across the mining sector, and drive strategic business development efforts with regional leaders to achieve growth targets.

You will oversee permitting, NEPA-related analyses, and regulatory compliance, while mentoring staff and delivering integrated services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or environmental science.
• Minimum 15 years of experience, including 5+ years in consulting.
• Strong client relationships with mining clients and credible track record.

Responsibilities

• Lead expansion of the mining business in the western US.
• Develop and manage multiple key mining client accounts.
• Identify and pursue business development opportunities aligned with strategy.
• Oversee permitting, planning, and regulatory compliance for mining projects.
• Mentor staff and coordinate with regional leaders to achieve targets.
• Ensure safety, quality, and integrated service delivery across disciplines.
