Job summary

Stantec is seeking an experienced Environmental Services professional to join as a Business Development Professional and Senior Project Manager for the Mountain Region mining sector. You will drive growth, manage key client relationships, and lead project delivery across multiple states.

The role requires a strong background in mining, NEPA and regulatory processes, and mentoring junior staff while coordinating with regional leaders to expand our western US footprint.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, environmental science, or related field.
• Minimum of 15 years of experience, including mining sector experience, with at least 5 years in a consulting role.
• Advanced degrees and professional registration are strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the expansion of the mining business in the western United States.
• Manage and grow key client accounts within the Mining sector.
• Oversee permitting, regulatory strategy, and project management for mining projects.
• Mentor staff in technical practices and project delivery.
