Job summary

AECOM is seeking a Senior Consultant Mining & Environmental Representative to join our Alaska mining team. You will identify opportunities, develop client relationships, and deliver sustainable environmental solutions while coordinating with multidisciplinary teams.

The role requires strong environmental science knowledge, regulatory permitting experience, and the ability to travel about 20% domestically to support projects.

Qualifications

• BS in Geology, Environmental Science or related engineering discipline with 8+ years of experience or equivalent.
• Strong business development or account management experience in mining preferred.
• ESG frameworks knowledge and sustainable mining practices advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new mining opportunities focusing on environmental sustainability.
• Develop client relationships and promote AECOM’s mining and Alaska presence.
• Provide technical and strategic guidance on environmental impact assessments and permitting.
