Job summary

AECOM is seeking a mining engineer to provide daily engineering support for open pit and/or underground mining operations. You will monitor production activities to ensure adherence to mine plans and designs, while promoting AECOM’s strong safety culture across sites.

Ideal candidates have at least 4 years of mining engineering experience and proficiency with mine planning software, AutoCAD, and GIS. Position may involve 50% travel and remote/international mine site work.

Qualifications

• BS in Mining Engineering or related field (minimum).
• 4+ years of mining engineering experience preferred; 6 years of progressive mining engineering experience preferred.
• Experience with mine planning software, AutoCAD, and GIS.
