Job summary

WSP is seeking a Senior Mineral Processing Engineer for our Lakewood, CO office to lead development of process engineering deliverables for mineral processing plants. You will generate accurate documentation and ensure safety and design quality.

The role requires 7–10+ years in mining/metallurgical projects, familiarity with HAZOP, and experience coordinating sub-consultants. Occasional travel and strong communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 7-10+ years of process engineering experience on mining or metallurgical projects.
• Experience with gold heap leaching, copper flotation, or solvent extraction.
• Familiarity with HAZOP and process safety review methods.
• Experience in EPCM projects coordinating sub-contractors and turnkey packages.
• Strong technical writing and documentation skills.
• Able to travel occasionally and work beyond regular hours as needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of process engineering deliverables for mineral processing plants.
• Perform design calculations, analyses, and prepare final design plans.
• Coordinate with sub-consultants and package vendors to review deliverables.
• Maintain project documentation and ensure safety and quality standards.
