Job summary

Systems Planning and Analysis, Inc. in Washington, DC is seeking a Project Manager for the Mine Warfare program office to lead acquisition and integration efforts, manage requirements, and coordinate with government managers.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or scientific field.
  • 10+ years of relevant program/project management experience.
  • Supervisory experience with SES/Flag level personnel.
  • Active DoD Secret security clearance throughout employment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).

Responsibilities

  • Provide Mine Warfare acquisition program/project management expertise to the PMS 495 office.
  • Assist in managing, overseeing, and executing research and technology initiatives and mine warfare system development.
  • Assist government program managers in developing and managing Mission Module requirements and acquisition documentation and program actions.
  • Support government program managers in developing, managing, and evaluating contractual documentation and deliverables from the prime system integrator in support of system design and development acquisition milestones.
  • Assist in planning, programming, budgeting, and execution (PPBE) for undersea warfare systems including fiscal estimates, briefs, and schedules.
  • Track budgets, spend plans, funding obligations and execution; coordinate with stakeholders to obtain funding data and produce reports; execute Earned Value Management System.
  • Assist government program managers in providing daily program, analytical, and acquisition management.
