Job summary

Arcosa Aggregates is hiring a Mine Manager in Sun City, AZ. This role directs activities and staff in a mining environment, with full P&L responsibility and a focus on safety, compliance, and profitability in aggregates production and sales.

The ideal candidate will have at least five years of supervisory experience in aggregates, strong MSHA knowledge, and the ability to manage operating plans, budgets, and cross-functional teams while traveling as needed.

Qualifications

• Five years of supervisory experience in an Aggregates environment preferred.
• Knowledge of MSHA regulations, safety compliance, and environmental policies.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to read and understand financial statements.
• Willingness to travel and work nights/weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead and direct activities to achieve safety, compliance, and profitability goals.
• Develop short-, mid-, and long-term operating plans and budgets.
• Oversee operations, sales, and staff to be a full-service aggregates producer.
• Promote a positive safety culture and staff ownership.
• Identify process improvements and drive cost efficiency.
• Coordinate with sales to understand market opportunities and growth.
