Job summary

Solidus Resources is seeking a Dewatering Engineer to lead the mine's groundwater and dewatering program at the Spring Valley project in Lovelock, NV. You will work with Operations, Engineering and Environmental teams to integrate dewatering into mine plans and meet regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities include hydrogeology investigations, planning and operation of dewatering wells, in-pit pumping, data modeling (MODFLOW) and developing SOPs and field documentation to support permitting and

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • 5+ years hydrogeology or mine-dewatering experience.
  • Experience coordinating contractors and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Experience developing and implementing technical procedures and SOPs.
  • Strong understanding of dewatering interaction with drilling, blasting and mine sequencing.
  • PE registration or eligibility (preferred).

Responsibilities

  • Lead hydrogeological investigations and dewatering studies.
  • Plan, install, operate and monitor dewatering wells.
  • Coordinate drilling and dewatering with operations, contractors and consultants.
  • Develop and maintain dewatering procedures, field documentation and SOPs.
  • Support groundwater permitting, regulatory reporting and compliance activities.
  • Integrate dewatering infrastructure into short-, medium- and long-term mine plans.
