Job summary

Washington Corporations seeks a Senior Mine Geologist to develop and maintain 3D geological models and support reserve conversion for open pit copper operations. You will lead data interpretation, geostatistical estimation, and QA/QC across the drilling programs and reporting processes.

You will collaborate with mine planning, engineering, and operations to optimize pit designs and ensure accurate resource reporting and schedules.

Qualifications

• Ideal candidate has a Bachelor's in Geology or related field.
• Minimum 10 years in mining geology with open pit copper experience.
• Experience with drilling methods and QA/QC of exploration data.
• Strong proficiency in resource estimation and modelling.

Responsibilities

• Develop, update, and validate 3D geological/resource models.
• Interpret lithological/structural data from drilling.
• Perform resource estimation and classification using geostatistics.
• Support reserve conversion and annual life-of-mine reporting.
• Maintain QA/QC of geological data and databases.
• Provide geological input to mine planning and optimization.
