Job summary

KBR is seeking a Sustainment IPS Specialist for our Colorado Springs team. You will support IPS activities for MILSATCOM systems, working with the 8th Sustainment Squadron and the MSEIT contract.

This front-facing role requires a proactive, DoD logistics background and experience with LCSP and depot activations. The role involves close collaboration with government teams, prime contractors, and field organizations to ensure successful sustainment, transition readiness and secure communications

Qualifications

• Active DoD SECRET clearance with ability to obtain TS/SCI.
• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business or equivalent.
• 8+ years’ experience in government or industry logistics for a government program.
• Experience planning, leading and executing a depot activation (hardware, software, COMSEC).
• Experience authoring logistics products including an LCSP.
• Experience with Government programs in Acquisition transitioning to Sustainment.
• Proficiency in multiple DoD 12 Product Support Elements.
• Familiarity with USAF logistics systems (D035, DO43, SMART, REMIS, GCSS, etc.).
• Familiarity with developing and maintaining technical orders.
• Familiarity with provisioning, cataloging, GEIA-STD-0007, sparing analysis.
• Strong communication, analysis, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency with MS Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, etc.) and SharePoint.

Responsibilities

• Execute the system Product Support Strategy performing IPS across DoW's 12 Product Support Elements supporting acquisition, transition, fielding, and sustainment functions.
• Maintain collaborative relationships within the Program Office and with external entities and field organizations.
• Participate in or lead logistics and product support forums; manage tasks, capture minutes, maintain schedules and milestones.
• Develop, maintain, and execute logistics documents and processes (LCSP, annexes, LHA, DMAP, property management).
• Execute and support provisioning, logistics supportability analysis, demand planning and sparing determinations, and fielding.
• Support Transition to Operations and sustainment activities; assess sustainment maturity for IOC.
• Develop presentation materials, provide briefings and lead discussions.
