Job summary

A leading global methanol producer in Geismar is seeking a skilled Millwright to perform maintenance and repair of rotating equipment. The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of experience in a manufacturing facility, demonstrating strong troubleshooting skills and a commitment to safety. This role involves preventive maintenance and collaboration across departments to enhance plant reliability.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience as a Millwright or Mechanical tradesman for a manufacturing facility.
• Experience with maintenance overhaul of rotating equipment, including high pressure steam turbine and compressors.
• Ability to troubleshoot, diagnose, solve problems, and identify solutions.

Responsibilities

• Executes the rotating equipment preventive maintenance (PM) program and report relevant findings.
• Troubleshoots and diagnoses problems associated with all rotating equipment.
• Assists in the continued revision of spare parts and equipment documentation.
