Job summary

Austin Industrial is seeking an experienced Journeyman for on-site work in Texas. You will install, repair, replace and dismantle machinery and heavy equipment in industrial settings, following safety procedures and company policies.

Qualifications include 10+ years journeyman experience, NCCER certification, and a valid driver’s license. Applicants must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, work at heights, and operate hand and power tools; equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of Journeyman level experience.
• NCCER certification and a valid Driver’s License or State ID.
• Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Replace defective parts and adjust clearances and alignment of moving parts.
• Align machines and equipment using hoists, jacks, hand tools, and measuring instruments.
• Connect power unit to machines or steam piping and test to evaluate mechanical operation.
• Repair and lubricate machines and equipment; assemble and install equipment.
• Dismantle machinery for shipment and perform on-site installation as part of a team.
