Job summary

West Fraser in Dudley, GA, is seeking a seasoned Millwright Level 2 to maintain conveyors, debarkers, gang saws, and other industrial equipment in a manufacturing setting. This is not entry level; a minimum of five years of Millwright experience is required, with readers able to interpret drawings and perform preventive maintenance.

Qualifications

• Must have 5 years of Millwright experience in Industrial/Manufacturing environment or Associates degree in Industrial Maintenance.
• Must successfully complete a pre-employment drug screen, physical and background check.
• Maintenance Assessment will be given to all candidates to determine level of pay with a minimum score of 80.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain industrial equipment including conveying systems, major machine centers such as debarkers, canters, gang saws, and edgers.
• Able to read and understand drawings and printed instructions.
• Must be a self-starter who can work safely under high-pressure situations.
• Align machines and equipment using hoists, jacks, levels, micrometers, and plumb tools.
• Assemble and install equipment using hand tools and power tools.
• Lay out mounting holes, drill holes with a power drill.
