Job summary

Stanton Millworks Llc in the tri-state area seeks a Senior Engineer who translates complex designs into buildable shop drawings. You will develop detailed shop drawings, interpret plans, collaborate with production, and mentor other engineers.

This role demands quality control and ownership of engineering details from drafting to installation. You will work closely with estimating and project teams on site to ensure constructability and timely delivery of millwork projects.

Qualifications

5+ years in architectural millwork, cabinetry, or related fabrication.
5+ years of CAD drafting experience; proficient in AutoCAD.
Engineering degree or equivalent industry experience.
Strong understanding of millwork methods, materials, joinery, hardware.
Ability to interpret architectural plans and specs with accuracy.

Responsibilities

Develop accurate shop drawings and submittal packages.
Interpret drawings and field-verified dimensions to create constructible solutions.
Engineer complex millwork details including curved components and hardware.
Collaborate with estimating, project management, and production to resolve constructability concerns.
Provide technical guidance to fabrication and assembly teams.
Mentor fellow engineers and support quality control.
Ensure designs translate effectively to shop floor.
