Job summary

Mount Indie is seeking a Cost Engineer in Jacksonville, FL to provide cost engineering support for NAVFAC Southeast. You will assist in planning, design, construction, and maintenance of Navy and Marine Corps facilities, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure compliant designs.

You will apply cost engineering concepts across MILCON, demolition, maintenance, and space utilization, delivering analyses and recommendations with clear communication of results.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical, mechanical, or civil engineering, or architecture, from an ABET- or NAAB-accredited program.
• Minimum of 10 years of professional cost engineering experience for new construction, including renovation cost engineering experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide independent, timely cost engineering support for planning, design, construction, and maintenance of Navy/Military facilities.
• Apply knowledge of engineering and architecture as it relates to cost.
• Participate in planning, budgeting, designing, and construction of substantial new construction, renovation, and improvement projects.
