Job summary

Cherokee Nation Defense Solutions (CNDS) is seeking a Senior Construction Manager to support AFCEC mission. You will oversee design/construction advisory work, prepare cost/schedule analyses, and lead on-site and virtual meetings for MILCON and FSRM projects. A 10+ year DoD background and DoD policy knowledge are required.

Must be a US citizen with a valid passport; travel CONUS/OCONUS is possible. This is a full-time on-site role with benefits and opportunities to impact critical military

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering or closely related field is required.
• Minimum of 10 years of DoD/Air Force facility and infrastructure project management experience within the last 20 years.
• Knowledge of DoD design and construction policies and standards.
• Working knowledge of military construction and renovation projects.
• Excellent critical thinking, multi-tasking, and communication skills; both oral and written.
• Must be a US citizen and have a valid US passport.
• Travel as needed may occur CONUS and OCONUS.
• Experience providing oversight of A/E design and construction and CAD reading.

Responsibilities

• Provide a responsive, flexible full-spectrum installation engineering services.
• Perform technical review and advisory/assistance for AFCEC design and construction projects across the Air Force.
• Prepare project status updates, cost and schedule reviews, and related reports for workload.
• Participate in design, contract acquisition, construction meetings, and on-site inspections.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
