Job summary

Pratt & Whitney, part of RTX, seeks a Military Composites Manager within the Compression Systems Engineering group in Middletown, CT. You will lead a multi-disciplinary team supporting the delivery, producibility and technology development for military hardware and programs.

You will partner with CIPT, ensure quality and schedule adherence, and mentor staff while aligning with company processes and security-clearance requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering required with 12+ years of engineering experience or Advanced degree with 10+ years of engineering experience.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance; U.S. citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership and staff planning to ensure program delivery milestones are met.
• Coordinate with CIPT and other functions to align staffing with program objectives and ensure cross-site collaboration.
• Drive improvements in quality and delivery performance to meet program requirements.
• Engage with external hardware suppliers to investigate issues and develop robust improvement plans.
• Mentor staff and support professional development and discipline health across the team.
• Support organizational goals identified in Policy Deployment.
