Job summary
Johnson Service Group is seeking a Mil-Spec Senior Power Supply Design Engineer in Camarillo, CA, with 10+ years in Aerospace or Power supply environments. This direct hire role focuses on converting paper designs into real products, designing Mil-Spec power supplies, and supporting legacy documentation in a fast-paced lab and customer-facing setting.
You will split time between CAD design, lab troubleshooting, and collaborating with customers and suppliers, ensuring quality and performance
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- 5–7 years of electrical engineering experience, focusing on power supplies and Mil‑Spec standards.
- Proficient in CAD software and schematic design; hands‑on testing with oscilloscope, multimeter, soldering, etc.
- Strong written and verbal communication; ability to document and collaborate with teams.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop Mil-Spec power supplies meeting stringent criteria.
- Support legacy products and reverse‑engineer if needed.
- Serve as primary technical contact across engineering teams.
