Job summary

Albany Medical College is seeking a fellowship-trained Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgeon to join the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology and advance its Complex Benign Gynecology Program in the Capital Region.

The candidate will join a growing regional referral practice focused on advanced benign gynecologic disease, MIS, multidisciplinary care, education, and academic development.

Qualifications

• MD/DO degree from an accredited medical school and NY license eligibility.
• Successful completion of a MIGS fellowship.
• Board certified or board eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology.

Responsibilities

• Provide evaluation and longitudinal management of complex benign gynecologic conditions.
• Perform advanced minimally invasive gynecologic surgery, including robotic procedures.
• Develop multidisciplinary care pathways for complex pelvic disease.
• Provide inpatient and outpatient care within the complex benign gynecology practice.
• Teach and mentor medical students and residents, including operative education.
• Engage in quality improvement, outcomes measurement, research, and scholarly activity.
