Job summary

Albany Medical College seeks a full-time, fellowship-trained Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgeon to join the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology and contribute to its Complex Benign Gynecology Program. The candidate will join a growing regional referral practice focused on advanced benign gynecologic disease, MIS, multidisciplinary care, education, and academic development.

Qualifications

• Possess an MD/DO degree and be eligible to obtain a New York Medical License.
• Completed Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery (MIGS) fellowship.
• Board certified or board eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized evaluation and longitudinal management for complex benign gynecologic conditions.
• Perform advanced minimally invasive gynecologic surgery with evidence-based care.
• Expand multidisciplinary care pathways for complex pelvic disease.
• Provide inpatient and outpatient care within the complex benign gynecology practice.
• Teach and mentor medical students and residents; participate in education.
• Engage in quality improvement, outcomes research, and scholarly activity.
• Contribute to Albany Medical Center's Complex Benign Gynecology Program.
