Farnsworth Group, Inc. is seeking a Midstream Project Engineer - Natural Gas Facilities to join our Energy and Utilities group in Illinois. You will lead and support a growing engineering team, focusing on compressor stations, metering and regulation facilities, and related design challenges.

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering from an ABET accredited institution.
• Experience with natural gas facilities and midstream projects is preferred.
• Licensed Professional Engineer is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical expertise on natural gas facility projects including compressor and metering stations.
• Develop projects by analyzing existing facilities for performance, safety, and reliability improvements.
• Prepare detailed technical documents, calculations, P&IDs, and reports.
• Coordinate with drafters/designers for engineering drawings.
• Support field construction activities to ensure drawings and specs are followed.
• Manage projects from conception to closeout including scope, schedule, and budgeting.
• Develop proposals with fee estimating and RFPs, coordinating with the proposal team.
