Job summary

Unisys is seeking a Senior Middleware & Hybrid Cloud Administrator to lead design, implementation, and modernization of enterprise middleware and hybrid cloud solutions. You will drive project delivery across cloud transformation, application migration, and platform engineering in mission-critical environments.

The role requires deep middleware, AWS, and automation expertise, with a track record of large-scale implementations in 24/7 SLA-driven environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years of middleware, infrastructure, and cloud environments.
• Proven experience delivering large-scale implementation and migration projects.
• Strong hands-on expertise with WebSphere, WebLogic, JBoss, Tomcat; Messaging: IBM MQ, Artemis MQ, Mule ESB; AWS cloud services and hybrid architectures.

Responsibilities

• Lead Middleware & Cloud Implementations: end-to-end delivery of middleware and hybrid cloud solutions.
• Enable Application Modernization: re-platform legacy apps and migrate workloads to AWS and hybrid cloud environments.
• Design Scalable & Resilient Solutions: highly available, secure architectures with DR requirements.
• Deploy Middleware & Messaging Platforms: implement WebSphere, WebLogic, JBoss, Tomcat, Apache, IBM MQ, Artemis MQ, Mule ESB.
• Implement Automation & Infrastructure as Code: CloudFormation, JSON, YAML, scripting for repeatable delivery.
• Integrate Hybrid Environments: connect on-premises infra with AWS cloud.
• Ensure Monitoring & Performance Optimization: monitoring/observability tools to meet SLA.
• Embed Security & Compliance: identity management and regulatory controls.
• Collaborate Across Teams: work with application, infrastructure, security, and client teams.
• Support DevOps & Release Enablement: CI/CD pipelines and release automation.
