Job summary

Padmore Global Connections LLC is seeking a Senior Middleware Administrator to support the Metro Atlanta middleware stack. Hybrid work and contract engagement. You will design, deploy, and secure middleware components while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

The role requires deep expertise in WebSphere/WebLogic, Tomcat and IIS, plus strong scripting and CI/CD capabilities to automate deployments and patching. Local candidates in the Atlanta area are preferred.

Qualifications

• 5+ years supporting production middleware environments (IBM WebSphere, WebLogic, IIS).
• 2+ years with Tomcat, Apache HTTP Server, Oracle WebLogic.
• 3+ years installing and maintaining software on Windows and Linux/Unix.
• 2+ years of Jenkins pipelines (declarative).

Responsibilities

• Perform admin duties for WebSphere/WebLogic/Tomcat/IIS; create scripts to automate tasks.
• Build/deploy and maintain middleware environments and servers.
• Adhere to standards, audit controls, and security compliance requirements.
• Design automated CI/CD deployment systems for middleware and IIS.
• Perform patching and ensure security compliance.
• Utilize Open Source tools like Jenkins, Grafana for monitoring.
• Provide Linux support; develop/maintain shell scripts; strengthen security.
• Execute Change Management and Incident Management per IT policies.
• Provide weekly status reports on assigned tasks.
• On-call support and occasional weekend onsite coverage; provide L2/L3 support.
• Create process docs and train team members; document designs via whiteboards.
